Since 2001, audiences have flocked to the theater to see the Harry Potter and company fight against the forces of evil, namely Voldemort and his Death Eaters. However, July 14 marked the end of the Harry Potter era when The Deathly Hallows Part 2 was released. Going into the final film, fans who haven’t read the books were sure to expect some surprises, while fans who have read the books were anxious to see how the final showdown would play on-screen.
The film begins where The Deathly Hallows Part 1 left off, with Voldemort violating Dumbledore’s casket to retrieve the “Elder wand”. The scene fades into Harry sitting at Dobby’s burial site, contemplating the trio’s next task. At this point, Harry makes the decision that the gang must break into the wizarding bank, Gingotts, in order to retrieve the next horcrux.
